Thai Drift

Zac and my first date was here, but that bias aside this was a great Thai place.  I've had Thai food anywhere from Hong Kong, to Sugar Land, TX, Raleigh, NC to places around here, and this place ranked better than expected for a small place in a random strip mall. The service was awful (we came on a Friday night and it was packed, so let's just attribute it to the popularity of the place) but Zac and I actually had to stand up and go ask the waiter for utensils.  With his hand in a cast and me being nervous about what to say (first date jitters), we almost went for using our hand(s) instead of chopsticks. That aside, the massaman and panang curry were good.  The pictures above are a little deceiving...the place wasn't that upscale and the prices reasonable.  It's right by a Beto's, so hey, if you don't like Thai Drift, you can skip over there and get sick eating one of their burritos.
