260 South 200 West   Salt Lake City, UT 84101     (4 out of 5 stars)

I have a confession to make....I don't like Italian food! I've tried curing it, I've tried saying I do when everyone else raves about it and runs to Olive Garden, and I've sampled enough fettucines to know it's true.  So the fact that I loved this place is saying something.  The pizza and salads were great, the ambiance edgy and cool, while still being able to leave there without spending much. My husband and I got enough food for us both and left there only spending $20 or so.  There is an adjoining gelato parlor (if that's what the fancy Italians call it), which was admittedly my favorite part.  Great place for dinner parties (we went there for my friend's birthday) and have gone back again.  Great for that date night too when you want to go to another place for dessert but don't want to walk too far.  10 feet from your table and into the parlor-azzella (yes, I made that up) and you're ready to pick out some of that eggnog gelato.

  1. Such a fun trip! I'm SOOO jealous of your MK scores...even more jealous now that I've seen them. I kept laughing thinking of how childish you probably were as you googled at everything!
