Zac and I have now been here twice because it's right next to the Broadway Center theater.  We love eating here and then catching an independent movie.  So, I have to be honest--we went here a couple months ago because people had raved about it, and we were pretty disappointed.  We came on a Monday night for their dinner menu, got some fancy meats and cheeses, some over-priced entrees, and didn't go back.  But we were allured again by the cool decor, we gave it another shot.  SO glad we did.  We went this past Saturday for their Brunch menu (Saturdays they serve Brunch all day) and it was superb.  Sigur Ros playing overhead, exposed bulbs for lighting, scrubbed wood tables...I felt happy just sitting there.  We ordered the ricotta dumplings for our starter (see below) were okay...the lemon olive oil base was yummy, but the middle was just ricotta which felt like a bit of an overload.  A bit of a texture problem.  My cuban sandwich (see below) was the best thing I had all day.  Zac gave me a bite of his steak and it was cooked perfectly.  Medium rare with seasoning to make Bobby Flay smile.

(4 out of 5 stars)
