Zac and I were contemplating driving to Vegas the other weekend just to go back to Max Brenner. We went there on our honeymoon on Valentine's Day (double-whammy) and it was by far, all Vegas buffets included (Wynn, Bellagio, etc.) my favorite place we ate at. And we left only spending $35. There is an adjoining chocolate shop with fancy, wicked chocolates that I think we ate before our entrees even arrived. Max Brenner incorporates chocolate into any entree you order, so with Zac's omelette came a chocolate dipping sauce for his biscuit, and with my panini the fries were cocoa-dusted. Sounds gross?
I don't think so. And the hot chocolate? You have to get there. This isn't some Swiss Miss kind of drink. This tastes like Godiva-chocolate, melted and mixed with marshmallow fluff or something. It was decadent. Writing this, I am still thinking we should make the drive to Vegas (is it 4 hours? or 8?) just to eat there. Oh, and don't worry if you don't live in this neck of the woods. Max Brenner is in Philadelphia, Boston, NYC, and oh, yes---Singapore, the Phillipines, and incase you're there, ISRAEL.
